Everything from elephants in jetpacks, to a fortune telling mama and her kombucha.

Mama’s Kombucha came to me looking to stand out from the crowd. Instead of relying on the new-agey branding tricks used by every other kombucha brand, I sought to make Mama’s Kombucha a cool, hip drink that wasn’t afraid to have fun.

Portland Greenscene is a tourist website designed for the traveller who wants to get out of town with as little of a carbon footprint as possible. Wanna drink beer produced with solar power? Wanna stay at a hotel that offers to plant a tree on your behalf? Portland GreenScene has all of the information you need.

Nearly every advertisement promoting the welfare of animals is meant to disgust or to make the audience sad. Instead of following this tired direction, I wanted to make ads for IFAW that are like animals; fun, memorable and exciting.

First impressions are everything. Which is why you don’t give out a boring, 20+ page brochure/magazine to 18 year old, prospective college students. To turn things around, I wanted to give Temple’s Ad Department a brochure they could be proud of.

Active Role:

I developed the concept of the new brochure and acted as the Creative Director for the entirety of the project.
